Eastlands Primary School children, staff, parents and governors are celebrating after being graded ‘Outstanding’ in their recent Ofsted report.
The inspection, involving two inspectors from Ofsted, was thorough, robust and professionally rigorous and resulted in a glowing report on the work across all areas of the school.
As a school we value the ideas and opinions of our parents in order to continue improving our standards of learning and teaching. Each academic year we formally request the views of parents through a questionnaire. We use the results of this to plan for the future. We will continue to do this.
OFSTED also seek the views of parents through the formal inspection process but have recently made changes to this process. A new framework for the inspection of schools was introduced in September 2012 and parents views can now only be submitted online at http://parentview.ofsted.gov.uk. Parents are able to submit one questionnaire per academic year and I would encourage all parents to complete this. As always, if you have any concerns please contact a member of staff at school in the first instance to allow us the opportunity to address it.
