12th - Antibullying and Odd Sock Day!
Today, our ABA's led the whole school assembly! They talked to everyone about bullying behaviour and shared what anyone who feels they are being bullied, or if someone is being unkind should do. They spoke with confidence and pride. They also organised odd socks day! It was great to see so many of our school community taking part, including the adults. We are very proud of you all.

Assemblies are an important start to our school day.
Monday - Our teachers lead us in weekly singing assemblies. This is a lovely time to come together and enjoy the music and sing! KS2 sing together in the hall and KS1 come together in a classroom.
Tuesday - A British Values assembly with our class teacher. where we learn about the four core British Values: democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance of this with different faiths and World Views.
Wednesday - Our whole school Wednesday is led by a staff member about a celebration or time of year event. We also have visitors from a range of back grounds to talk to our children so that they have an understanding of the diversity of the world around them. We want the children to understand the diverse world they live in and have an understanding of how our differences make us all unique and special.
Thursday - We believe that developing strong speaking and listening skills is key to our children’s confidence and success. Our weekly class oracy assemblies provide a fantastic opportunity for pupils to practise clear communication, active listening, and respectful discussion. From storytelling to debate, every child is encouraged to share their thoughts and ideas in a supportive environment.
Friday -We all take part in a class Compliments Assembly. We share the adventures of our endangered class mascot and share the class compliments book.
Celebration Assemblies - On Friday's, we hold regular celebration assemblies where parents are invited into school to share in their children's success. Information will be sent via text. Year 6 will be first on 10th October.
